Jem has been practising meditation for many years and teaching mindfulness for over six. He has personal experience of the effectiveness of mindfulness practice in helping to alleviate stress and improve general wellbeing.
He runs mindfulness courses for adults, young people and those that care for them. With a background in secondary schools and the use of mindfulness to improve well-being in education, Jem is Schools’ Liaison Consultant for Oxford University’s MYRIAD project.
He is also a director of iBme UK, an organisation providing transformational residential retreats for young people.Jem has an MSc in Mindfulness-Based Approaches from the University of Bangor and is registered with the UK Mindfulness-Based Teachers' Network.
